PHOTOGRAPHY AS A WAY OF LIFE ! 1997-2024

Vladimir Kurakov's photo studio was founded in 1997. The main focus is experimentation and creativity with camera, light and composition to achieve unusual and unique effects.
To control the lighting of the scene, I use various light sources, constant and pulsed, mixed light at once in one frame to create the desired effects and atmosphere.
I invent and make homemade LED lights, various light-forming nozzles, gobo masks, honeycombs. I complement it all with color filters.

INTUITION. The ability of a person to understand and penetrate the meaning of events and situations through a one-time unconscious conclusion - insight.
Intuition is based on human imagination, empathy, and prior experience.

1995 - 1999. Design studio "ART". Production of outdoor advertising. Dimitrovgrad.
Founders: Viktor Nedashkovsky, Vladimir Kurakov, Pavel Naumov.
This is the first cutting plotter in the city, the first advertisement using ORACAL film
and, probably, the last company in which artists developed the design and made advertising.

The exhibition project "Collection No. 11". The project represents a new creative community for Moscow, the creation of which the Center directly contributed to. In the form of an exhibition, the publication of a new series of models by Georgy Ostretsov - "Collection No. 11" will take place. The photos were taken by Vladimir Kurakov, who is performing on the Moscow art scene for the first time.
