Vladimir Kurakov. PHOTOGRAPHY AS A WAY OF LIFE !

Vladimir Kurakov's photo studio was founded in 1997.
The main focus is experimentation and creativity with camera,
light, color and composition to achieve unusual and unique effects.
To control the lighting of the stage, I use various light sources, constant and pulsed, mixed light at once in one frame to create the desired effects and atmosphere. My photos are not a photoshopped photo collage. There are originals in RAW format. It is important and interesting for me to capture all the light, color and physical effects at once in one frame. Shadow, as part of the composition. The task is not easy, but its implementation and the shooting process itself, and most importantly, the result that is obtained, deliver a complex and difficult-to-explain feeling of satisfaction from the work done. Creative shooting modes: M, Multi-exposure and BULB. Light, color and shadows are the result of the work of lighting devices, the light from which passes through honeycombs, Gobo masks and color filters. All processing is done in the Nikon RAW converter Capture NX-D or NX studio. I can say that I shoot photo collages while shooting. Permanent LED light: I make strips and reflectors with my own hands, using household LED lamps of different power. I create and make light-forming nozzles, Gobo masks, honeycombs and color filters with my own hands.

This is the first cutting plotter in the city, the first advertisement using ORACAL film
and, probably, the last company in which artists developed the design and made advertising.

The exhibition project "Collection No. 11". The project represents a new creative community for Moscow, the creation of which the Center directly contributed to. In the form of an exhibition, the publication of a new series of models by Georgy Ostretsov - "Collection No. 11" will take place. The photos were taken by Vladimir Kurakov, who is performing on the Moscow art scene for the first time.
